Our Services
Comfort Medics Heating & Cooling LLC installs heating and cooling equipment from several well-known manufacturers for homes across North Georgia, and for light commercial jobs at small businesses such as offices and shops that use the same split systems and package units as homes. Brand choice depends on your home or building, ductwork, budget, and efficiency goals—not on a one-size-fits-all pitch.
We currently install Goodman, Rheem/Ruud, Durastar, Daikin, Mitsubishi, and LG systems. On every replacement we pull the permit, install to the manufacturer’s requirements, and check the work with measurements where they apply. See how a replacement works on our HVAC installation page, or browse typical cost factors in our HVAC replacement cost guide.

Equipment Brands We Install
The cards below are plain-English overviews so you know what each brand is known for. They are not dealer endorsements, and we do not claim authorized-dealer status for these equipment brands on this page. For indoor air quality brands such as Aprilaire and RGF (REME HALO), see our indoor air quality page.
Goodman
Goodman is a long-standing U.S. residential HVAC brand with roots in Houston, Texas. The company began as a duct manufacturer in 1975 and entered central air conditioner and heat pump manufacturing in 1982; it has been part of the Daikin group since 2012.
Typical Goodman product lines include split-system air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, packaged units, air handlers and coils, and ductless options. Many North Georgia homeowners choose Goodman when they want a widely supported, straightforward central system.
If a Goodman system fits your home, we size and install it through our HVAC installation process with permit, commissioning, and documented measurements.
Rheem / Ruud
Rheem and Ruud are sister brands under Rheem Manufacturing. Rheem grew from early 20th-century manufacturing into a major heating, cooling, and water-heating company; Ruud joined the Rheem family of brands in the late 1950s and remains a parallel HVAC line.
Both brands offer residential air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and related packaged equipment. We install Rheem or Ruud when the equipment match, availability, and homeowner preference line up for the job.
Ask for a free in-home quote and we will walk through Rheem/Ruud options alongside other brands on our replacement and installation page.
Durastar
Durastar is an HVAC brand focused on accessible, reliable comfort equipment for homeowners and contractors. Its lineup spans ductless mini-splits (single- and multi-zone, including cold-climate heat options) as well as unitary products such as heat pumps, air conditioners, air handlers, furnaces, and coils.
Ductless Durastar systems are a practical fit for remodels, room additions, garages, and homes where running new ductwork is difficult. Unitary Durastar equipment can also serve as a central-system option when it matches the load and duct design.
We install Durastar equipment as part of a full Comfort Medics replacement or add-on. Start with a free installation estimate.
Daikin
Daikin is a Japanese HVAC manufacturer founded in Osaka in 1924 and is one of the world’s largest heating and cooling companies. In North America, Daikin’s residential lines include split-system air conditioners and heat pumps, gas furnaces, packaged units, air handlers and coils, and single- and multi-zone ductless systems, plus VRV/VRF-style multi-zone platforms for more complex zoning needs.
Homeowners often look at Daikin when they want inverter-driven ductless or a higher-feature central option. We install Daikin equipment when it is the right match for the house and the homeowner’s goals.

Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Electric is widely known in the U.S. for ductless mini-split and multi-zone heat pump systems (historically marketed under names such as Mr. Slim, with residential lines commonly referred to as M-Series). The company has decades of experience in inverter-driven split systems for room-by-room and whole-home comfort without traditional ductwork.
Mitsubishi ductless systems are a strong fit for older homes, finished basements, sunrooms, and houses with uneven temperatures between floors. Multi-zone setups can serve several indoor units from one outdoor unit when the layout allows.
We install Mitsubishi systems as part of Comfort Medics’ replacement and add-on work—request a quote on our installation page.
LG
LG’s residential HVAC lineup in the U.S. centers on ductless mini-split heat pumps and multi-zone systems (including Multi F / Multi F MAX style platforms), with indoor styles such as wall-mounted, ceiling cassette, console, and ducted air handlers, plus design-forward ARTCOOL options.
LG is often considered when a homeowner wants a ductless or multi-zone solution with app-connected controls and a range of indoor unit styles. We install LG equipment when it fits the load calculation, line-set layout, and budget for the job.

How We Help You Choose
Brand is only one part of a lasting install. Load calculation, duct design and static pressure, refrigerant line sizing, drain and electrical details, and commissioning matter as much as the nameplate. We explain the tradeoffs in plain language, show what each option includes, and install to the manufacturer’s requirements—not a rush “set it and turn it on” approach.
